Sindh govt for addressing environment related issues
KARACHI: Sindh government for the first time in the province’s history has set aside Rs1bn to address the environmental issues of the province.
According to the details, the funding earmarked for the year 2021-2022 will help to resolve the emerging environmental issues in the province.
The provincial government is focusing on developing urban forests in the city over 2000acres and also sewage treatment plants will also be constructed in the city.
Speaking to the media, Adviser to Chief Minister on Climate Change, Barrister Murtaza Wahab also said that the provincial government has also finalised its climate change policy.
