RDA Finalizes Construction of Flyovers Throughout Rawalpindi

A scheme is being implemented to resolve this issue. The finalized plan includes the construction of flyovers at Chur Chowk, Kutchery Chowk, and Qasim Market.
Deputy Commissioner stated that the construction plan established under the Annual Development Program of the year is being accomplished by 412 projects, with Rs 134748.072 million explicitly assigned for them. 96 plans are currently in progress, while the remaining 316 projects are new.
Furthermore, he explained the use and importance of the Smart Monitoring of Development Projects App- the concerned officers can update the progress of development plans accordingly. The App is significant as information regarding projects can be retrieved anywhere and at any time, thus making project supervision easier.
He stated that the government’s first and foremost concern is the well-being of society. Adequate steps are being taken to utilize all the resources employed in the projects to benefit people living in the city.
The officials were instructed that the resources utilized in construction should be of standard. Moreover, he stated that development projects would have zero quality compromised in the process.
