Rawalpindi to get signal-free tourism corridor
RAWALPINDI: In order to increase the influx of tourists and boost tourism revenues, the district administration of Rawalpindi has approved a signal-free tourism corridor in the master plan of the city.
The project was approved in the meeting chaired by Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Tariq Murtaza.
According to the details, a signal-free corridor will be developed from Kalar Syedan to Azad Kashmir which will also include various site seeing points.
In the light of media reports, the road will spread over 123kms and various multi-storey commercial buildings will be developed along the road.
