Punjab govt to develop mega projects in Rawalpindi
ISLAMABAD: The provincial government of Punjab has allocated Rs24bn under the provincial budget of FY 2021-22 for developing various mega projects in Rawalpindi.
According to the details, the Punjab government has allocated Rs16bn for the developing Ring Road, Kohsar University, and Daducha Dam.
The Ring Road will be developed from GT Road to Thalian motorway.
Furthermore, the provincial government has also set aside Rs8bn for different uplift projects in Murree.
According to the media reports, the provincial government will also develop a graveyard of over 2,000 kanals in Rawalpindi.
