Provincial government earmarks development funds to seven tehsils of Rawalpindi

0 RAWALPINDI: For the uplift of Rawalpindi, the Punjab government has allocated Rs192mn to the seven tehsils of the city.
According to the details, funds have been allocated according to the population and the total number of union councils.
As per the devised parameters, Gujar Khan has been allocated the most funds owing to the population of 565,000 and 34 union councils.
Rawalpindi has become the largest tehsil of the district with a total population of 343,000 and 19 union councils.
