CDA set to construct a Car Parking Plaza in the Blue Area

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to start constructing a Parking Plaza in the Blue Area to resolve parking problems. The place agreed for the plaza will be the business center, to provide quality parking facilities to the city’s residents.

Proposals for the construction of a parking plaza started on Monday. The lowest request of Rs.1274.548 million was received from NLC. 

According to the officials, the parking plaza is set to be constructed along the Jinnah Avenue of Blue Area Islamabad.

The capacity of the parking plaza will be to park 1300 vehicles at a time. To increase the revenue of CDA, Shops are to be constructed on the ground floor of this parking plaza. However, the fifth floor of the parking plaza will be dedicated to open-air restaurants.
