Importance of 14th August
14th August marks the day when our beloved country, Pakistan, was founded. This day is still of the utmost importance and is a recognised national holiday for all sectors.
Pakistan was formed as a result of the Pakistan Movement, which sought the establishment of an independent Muslim state in the north-western regions of British India through the partition. The movement was led by Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Quaid-e-Azam of Pakistan. From 1913 until the establishment of Pakistan on August 14, 1947, Jinnah was the leader of the All-India Muslim League. His birthday, the 25th of December, is also celebrated as a national holiday in Pakistan!
Another important figure in the independence movement is Sir Muhammad Iqbal, popularly known as Allama Iqbal. He was a philosopher and a politician whose Urdu poetry is regarded as among the finest of the twentieth century. He was also the first individual who presented the idea of having a separate nation for Muslims. After strenuous efforts, the ideology of a separate nation turned into reality on the 14th of August, 1947.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal are the ones who had the original idea when we look at the list of names of the men who played a role in the formation of this nation. However, the people of Pakistan, our ancestors, played an important role during this movement. People made great sacrifices in order to support the movement so that the next generation, the current one, would have a peaceful life in a separate country.
Celebrating Independence Day Today
Our forefathers made significant contributions to the attainment of a separate country. Pakistan has experienced many ups and downs so far. To create a better and more promising future, it is crucial to maintain unity and resilience no matter what. Although the nation still has issues to address, it is crucial to be persistent and passionate about taking part in efforts to improve things.
We encourage you to ignite the passion you have for your country. On the day of independence, you should celebrate to the fullest, and vow to take little steps each day to create a positive change within yourself and the country. On this day, we need to sit with our family, friends, and peers and talk about our country; we owe this much to our beloved nation.
