Islamabad: A separate Overseas Pakistanis’ Complaint Cell (OPCC) has been formed by the Islamabad Capital Police, the district administration, and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to swiftly handle the concerns of overseas Pakistani nationals, according to sources.
In order to address the problems faced by Pakistanis living abroad, officials from the local administration, Islamabad Capital Police, and CDA would be present at this newly constituted unit. At this cell, an Islamabad Capital Police officer with the rank of DSP will be present.
Prior to that, on September 17, 2022, an Overseas Pakistanis’ Complaints Cell was established at the Central Police Office in Islamabad, as per the instructions of IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan. With a designated Superintendent of Police in charge, this cell was given the duty of handling complaints.
