Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme
Prime Minister Imran Khan virtually launched affordable housing projects in districts of Punjab through a video link to allot 3.5-marla housing units to low-income people at a low cost of Rs1.4million, subsidized by 300,000 per unit.
On behalf of the PM, Federal Minister for National Food Security Syed Fakhar Imam unveiled a plaque under Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme and mentioned it to be the biggest initiative to assist poor people in making their homes at affordable rates.
PM launched the project virtually at 10 points in nine districts to provide 3.5-marla housing units at an extremely low price of Rs 1.4 million, subsidized by Rs 300,000 per unit.
Banks would assist people with the loans at a low mark up of 3 per cent and installment would be only Rs 10,000 per month.
An area of 38 Kanal and 47 Marla has been allocated at Makhdoompur road near Lahore More in Khanewal.
