On Wednesday, In an anti-encroachment operation, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) removed a number of illegal buildings in various parts of the city.
The operation was carried out by an LDA team under the direction of Director General LDA Amir Ahmed Khan at Multan Road, Sabzazar Scheme, Canal Road, Katarband Road, Allama Iqbal Town, and Marghazar Colony.
The team was led by Chief Town Planner for Town Planning Zone-2 Shakeel Anjum and Town Planning Director Salman Mehfooz.
A police contingent and members of the LDA enforcement wing were also present on the site.
It is pertinent to state that the LDA director general stated that the city-wide campaign against unauthorised development would continue.
