Korang Bridge Project To Be Extended For Four Months – CDA

Islamabad: The expansion of the Korang Bridge Project on the Islamabad Expressway has been delayed.
According to the PC-I, it was supposed to be completed by the end of December. However, CDA hopes the project will be completed in April next year instead of December 2021.
They said the wing concerned of the authority had asked for four months extension in completing the project.
CDA officials said the same company would be developing both PWD Underpass and Korang Bridge projects. Its priority was to complete PWD Underpass, which was completed recently, Now the second project will be finalized, adding that shifting utility services also took extra time.
He further added CDA would also repair and expand the existing service road from Faizabad to Koral, with the help of which the traffic load on the expressway will further reduce.
