Islamabad to Get New Sports Club & Hiking Trails
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has revealed its plans to develop a cutting-edge sports complex called Sports Enclave in Islamabad’s picturesque Shah Allah Ditta neighbourhood. The facility will provide a variety of sporting events, such as cricket, volleyball, rock climbing, and zip lining.
The development of Sports Enclave into a multi-use stadium will give residents of the capital access to top-notch sporting amenities, according to Chairman CDA. On 300 Kanal of CDA land that was previously designated for environmental and health-related activities, the project will be built.
In order to speed up the procedure, CDA has given the relevant authorities immediate instructions to prepare PC-I. The Chairman CDA has also decided to reopen Alexander the Great’s historic path, which once connected Shah Allah Ditta to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and extended all the way to Islamabad.
In order to encourage outdoor recreation and tourism in the region, CDA has also chosen to rehabilitate Trail 8, a well-liked hiking trail among nature lovers. The Shah Allah Ditta region will also be made more beautiful by the building of a new route that will connect the Buddha’s caves with the Buddha Stupa.
