Islamabad Soon to get Dubai-Like Capital Walk Street
Islamabad: Capital city Islamabad will soon get a Capital Walk Street like Dubai, located in Shakarparian, Islamabad, according to the Capital Development Authority (CDA).
The new food street will be modelled after well-known streets in Baku and Dubai. One kanal of land would be leased to several international and local restaurant chains, according to CDA officials.
It is pertinent to state that only businesses allowed on Capital Food Street will be those that sell food. 50 percent of the 25 acres that make up the food street will be open to guests for enjoyment.
The selected bidder would be able to begin operations in the region within a month, according to CDA Chairman Noor ul Amin Mengla. He stated that in addition to the culinary area, there will be a play area, an amphitheatre, and cultural attractions for guests to enjoy.
The administration anticipates that both domestic and foreign tourists will enjoy the Capital Walk Street in the city. The inhabitants and residents of Islamabad have generally praised the decision. They consider Capital Walk Street to be the best move towards transforming Islamabad into a capital city of the first order.
