Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan instructed the relevant departments to enhance the pace of ongoing development projects under the Public Sector Development Programme 2021-22.
The KP government has proposed 40 projects under PSDP 2021-22 scheme which involves construction of road projects, and irrigation schemes.
In one of the PSDP meetings pertaining it was discussed that a total 139 projects worth billions of rupees will be part of an ongoing programme of which Rs76 billion has been released. As per the official notification the development projects are going in good pace and expectedly by the end of the financial year 100pc of funds would be released and spent in this regard.
The CM said in the meeting that the concerned authorities should prepare a PCs of the prospective projects by identifying the priority areas so that they can be made part of the forthcoming PSDP.
