Govt decides to allocate Rs55bn for CPEC in next budget

0 ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to allocate Rs55bn for projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in the next budget.
As per the official of the Ministry of Planning and Development, the government has added 25 projects related to CPEC in Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2021-2022.
The net cost of projects under CPEC has reached Rs1.6tr out of which Rs305bn has already been spent on various projects of CPEC.
Furthermore, the government has also decided to include the Pakistan Railways ML-1 project in next year’s PSDP.
