Government allocates Rs182.4bn for hydropower and water projects for FY21-22

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has allocated Rs182.4bn for 92 hydropower and water projects under the upcoming Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) of the Fiscal Year 2021-2022.
According to the details, the government has allocated Rs14.16bn for the Neelum-Jhelum hydropower project whereas Rs56.5bn has been allocated for the Dasu run of the water project.
Furthermore, Rs90.3bn has been allocated for water projects under the PSDP of the upcoming fiscal year.
