FDA Introduces 1237 Helpline for Authentic Citizen Information
Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has introduced a new helpline, 1237, which enables people to get information through phone calls, in an effort to enhance the standard of services offered to citizens.
Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, director general of the FDA, and other representatives of the organisation launched the helpline.
It is important to note that according to Chaudhry, the helpline is a part of a bigger initiative to enhance the FDA’s services and combat the agent mafia.
According to the specifics, the helpline will give residents real-time information about the Town Planning and Estate Management departments.
It is pertinent to state that it will make it easier for citizens to learn about NOCs, town planning reports, ownership certificates, completion certificates, residential and business construction plan approvals, the legal standing of housing schemes, and the procedure for their approval.
The DG stated that the helpline would make it easier for the general public to request property transfers, katchi abadis issues, and other FDA services.
