Development Work On Tribal District Colonies To Be Accelerated
Peshawar: On Tuesday, Provincial Housing Minister Dr Amjad Ali ordered the relevant authorities to accelerate development work on residential colonies in tribal districts. Additional Secretary Housing, DG Pakistan Housing Authority, and other officers were present during the meeting.
The meeting’s attendees were briefed about the High Rise flats Hayatabad, Jarma Housing Scheme Kohat, Peri Urban Housing Schemes, Civil Quarters Flat, etc.
According to the meeting, 68 percent of the work on the Jarma Housing Scheme has been done, with the remaining work expected to be completed in six months. According to reports, the High Rise Flats Hayatabad project will be completed in October of this year.
In his address to the gathering, the housing minister requested that work on the Peri Urban Housing Projects be expedited and that the master plan for Dangram Media Colony be completed by the 15th of June.
He also instructed that plantations be protected on residential plans and that development programmes be carefully watched.
