CDA To Choose Between NLC/FWO For Development Work at C-14 and C-15
Islamabad: National Logistics Cell (NLC) or Frontier Works Organization (FWO) are contenders for the development work of C-14 and C-15. CDA has engaged both entities for contract bidding.
The two residential sectors are located at the foothills of Margalla, alongside Margalla Avenue. The officials of CDA stated that NLC provided the lowest bid for C-14 of around Rs1.5 billion.
An officer of CDA mentioned that the bid will be accepted soon to commence the development work on C-14.
In addition, documents are almost finalized for C-15’s development contract worth approximately Rs 1.1 billion. The construction work of a service road in the residential sector is under progress as well, by a private contractor.
A CDA official said that after the engagement of a government contractor, the construction work would be finalized right on time.
Sources further revealed that a meeting presided over by CDA Chairman Amer Ali, was conducted for discussions based on under-developed sectors.
