CPEC Parliamentary Committee emphasizes on FDI through SEZs

ISLAMABAD: In the 37^th meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Monday, the committee emphasized attracting Foreign Direct Investment in CPEC Special Economic Zones (SEZs).

The committee also emphasized mechanisms for Ease of Doing Business (EODB).

According to the details, the committee also highlighted the need to incentivise the industries in SEZs and directed the authorities to resolve the issues pertaining to the sale and cancellation of plots in SEZs at the earliest.
