CM Punjab announces multi-billion development projects for Lahore
Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced multi-billion developmental projects and said that the city would be given its due rights. Addressing a ceremony held in connection with announcing mega projects worth billions of rupees in Lahore on Friday, he disclosed that flyovers would be constructed at Shahkam Chowk and Karim Block Market Chowk.
He said that the government has started constructing 35000 residential flats at 8400 kanal piece of land at the LDA city. He further stated that LDA flats will be given to the low-income segment on easy terms. Adding further he said that 4000 flats would be completed in the first phase and people could own a home at the monthly installment of mere 16000 rupees per month on a 20 years installment plan.
Addressing the journalists, he said that the new city will create huge business opportunities besides resolving the environmental issues. The occasion was attended by Provincial Ministers Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Murad Raas, Yasir Humayun, SACM Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan, assembly members, President PTI Central Punjab Ijaz Chaudhry, Vice-Chairman LDA Sheikh Muhammad Imran, high-rank officers, columnists, anchorpersons, and senior journalists.
