CDA To Connect Orange Line Metro Bus Routes
Islamabad: On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to link up routes of the Orange Line Metro Bus Service and Rawalpindi Metro Bus Service.
This step was taken to make it easier for Rawalpindi locals to travel to Islamabad International Airport.
A junction is being constructed at the Rawalpindi metro station Faiz Ahmed Faiz for this purpose, which will be functional by Monday.
The prime minister instructed the CDA chairman to connect the metro line that runs from Rawalpindi Saddar and the Islamabad Secretariat towards the Orange Line Metro’s Peshawar Mor Station.
Following its launch, the Orange Line Metro Bus is currently running from Peshawar Mor’s NHA Station to Islamabad International Airport.
