CDA to Amend U-turns on Srinagar Highway, Islamabad
Islamabad: On the Srinagar Highway, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is dwelling on changing the way that protective U-turns are designed.
Captain (r) Muhammad Usman Younis, the CDA Chairman, visited the protective U-turns that were built earlier this year to eliminate signals on the Srinagar Highway.
A plan to build elevated U-turns on the major route that connects traffic from Islamabad to the motorway network and the Islamabad International Airport was developed after the CDA chief instructed the concerned officials to gather data on the use of these U-turns by vehicles.
