Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is taking steps to ensure the establishment of urban facilities for city residents and the maintenance of infrastructure, such as the installation of street lights, road carpeting, and the resolution of water-related concerns that have previously been neglected.
“Special attention is being paid to the completion of the remaining development works in sectors I, G, H, and D series, the provision of civic facilities, and the facilitation of home builders in these sectors in accordance with CDA Chairman Noor ul Amin Mengal’s,” an official told APP.
“Efforts on installing streetlights on main roads and within sectors to ensure proper lighting management in sectors I-11, I-10, I-14, and sectors I-16, D-12, and other sectors is proceeding,” he added.
According to the source, “the project contractor has assured the CDA that the project will be completed within the next three months.”
He stated, “The lack of street lights in Sector D-12 has contributed to a recent increase in street crimes, encouraging residents to raise the issue with the relevant authorities.”
