CDA Sets Up 5 Sasta Bazaars To Facilitate Masses Throughout Ramadan

Islamabad: On Tuesday, Directorate of Municipal Administration (DMA) director Shakeel Arshad stated that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has set up 5 Sasta Bazaars for Ramadan in different sectors of Islamabad.

Furthermore, he said that the purpose of these Sasta Bazaars is to provide food and drinks to citizens at reasonable prices throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.

The Bazaars are functional in various sectors of Islamabad- G-6, G-7, G-10, H-9, and I-9. Many types of edible items are being provided at prices lower than the current market rates.

He further added that there is going to be a strict check on the prices of edibles to prevent stall owners from increasing their prices.

A consistent supply of food in Sasta Bazaars will be ensured in the near future by the market committee. Utility Stores Corporation will also be set up in every Sasta Bazaar. 

The director mentioned that a plan is in the process to facilitate the masses by making Sasta Bazaars functional throughout the week.
