CDA Resumes Development Work in Sector C-15 After 7-Year-Break
Islamabad: After a seven-year halt, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has started the development work in Sector C-15 on a “priority basis.”
The civic organisation had begun the sector’s development last year, but it quickly came to an end. However, the CDA administration now seeks to prioritise the sector’s development.
The development work has reportedly started after seven years, and every effort will be made to develop the sector and award land to allottees as soon as possible, according to CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal.
Based on a land-sharing formula, the CDA purchased the sector in 2008, and the locals were given developed plots of 1 Kanal as opposed to a 4 Kanal plot.
It is pertinent to state that plots were allotted by the CDA against the property, but no allotment papers were given out.
For the built-up property (BuP) award revealed in 2016, at least 504 people were deemed qualified. After providing the necessary details, 167 of them were put on the A-list, and 337 were put on the B-list.
