CDA for swift completion of work on PWD underpass

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has directed the contractors and the relevant authorities to expedite the development work on the PWD underpass and expansion of Korang Bridge.
According to the press release issued by the civic authority, CDA has given the deadline of July for the completion of development work on the PWD underpass while December for the expansion of Korang Bridge.
The press release also mentioned that two lanes will be added on Islamabad Expressway from Korang Bridge to T-Chowk.
Furthermore, the press release states that half of the work on Korang Bridge has been completed and work on slip-overs is in progress.
CDA has also requested the federal government for Rs500mn for the expansion of the expressway from Koral to GT Road.
