CDA Approves Development Projects in the Federal Capital
Islamabad: The Islamabad bus service plan was approved at the 58th meeting of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) – DWP. The meeting was presided over by the CDA chairman.
The Federal Cabinet gave its approval for FWO to carry out the project. The CDA-DWP meeting approved the Nilor Heights revised project. The Nilor Heights project consists of a high-end and a low-cost component. The price per square foot for the high-end category will be Rs7,000.
The meeting also approved the project for the city’s bus service in Islamabad. The price is Rs7,240,62,000,000. This project will assist in meeting Islamabad’s transportation needs, thus eight different routes were authorised in this regard.
The creation of Margalla Hill Sanctuary Park was also approved at the meeting after the Planning Commission’s concerns were addressed. For the maintenance, defence, and preservation of the flora and fauna, the project will be carried out in association with IWMB which will oversee its management.
The hiring of consultants to help PC-II establish Capital Medical College at Capital Hospital in Islamabad was also approved at the meeting.
The strategy for the development of E-bidding in CDA was also approved. The road rehabilitation and widening project from Lahtrar Road from Pinstech Gate No. 1 to Gate No. 3 was also approved at the CDA-DWP meeting.
