CDA Approves Construction of International Standard Football Stadium
Islamabad: On Monday, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board gave the go-ahead for the construction of an international football stadium in Islamabad.
The decision was made at the board’s sixth meeting of the year, which was held at CDA headquarters and presided over by Chairman Captain (Retd) Noor ul Amin Mengal.
This decision, which was made under the chairmanship of Captain (Retd) Noor ul Amin Mengal at the CDA headquarters, represents a crucial turning point for enthusiasts of sports in the nation’s capital and is anticipated to strengthen Islamabad’s sports infrastructure and culture.
Today, the federal capital’s international football and cricket stadium venues will be decided upon at a meeting of the CDA. These sporting arenas have been proposed for two large sites, 20 acre plots close to the Motorway (MI) and Kuri. During the conference, which will be presided over by Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, the choice of these sites will be a crucial item on the agenda.
The establishment of the Building and Housing Control Wing was approved by the CDA board during the meeting. The board determined that Islamabad’s residential and commercial structures must use rainwater collection. It was decided that a water recharging well and tank must be built before any building plans may be approved.
