CDA and SUPARCO Sign an Agreement to Establish Geo-spatial Technology Wing
ISLAMABAD: To establish a Geo-Spatial technology division at CDA, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and SUPARCO have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Officials from CDA and SUPARCO attended a ceremony that was organised at the SUPARCO headquarters in this respect.
The agreement was signed by Chairman SUPARCO and Chairman CDA Muhammad Usman Younis.
It is to be noted that Geo-spatial technology was developed with the intention of enhancing the planning process. The planning wing will also create a Geo-Spatial technology wing that will handle data, offer specialised training, and offer Geo-Spatial services.
According to the specifics, CDA will be able to obtain satellite data with the aid of this project for operational usage.
It is pertinent to state that SUPARCO will help CDA in a number of ways, including planning, monitoring, and mapping.
