Ammar Chowk project finally completed; Next is Kacheri Chowk: RDA

Rawalpindi:  Chairman (RDA) Tariq Mehmood Murtaza said that the Ammar Chowk project’s construction work had been completed, now to Kacheri chowk.

Talking about three mega projects — Ammar Chowk, Kacheri chowk and Defence Chowk — he said the project had been completed, and now work on Kacheri Chowk would be started soon, (consisting of a one-kilometer-long, two-lane-wide underpass) keeping in view the traffic load and continuity of vehicular flow on these roads.

He further said that CDA had approved the project estimated at around Rs4.7 billion.

The chairman appreciated the pace and quality of work on Ammar Chowk and thanked the development and constructions companies involved.
