ISLAMABAD: In a meeting held between Shaukat Tarin, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, and Country Director World Bank (WB), Najy Benhassine at the finance division, both sides discussed the affairs concerning the housing sector.
According to the details, the WB has decided to assist Pakistan with $290mn for various projects of the housing sector.
Speaking on the occasion, the Country Director was of the view that WB backs the government’s decision of building housing units for low-income groups.
The meeting was attended by the Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Finance and Revenue, and Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority.
