The Design Vetting Committee of CDA approved design proposals of seven buildings
9 July 2020, Islamabad: A meeting held with the Government’s revival of economic and construction activities with the Design Vetting Committee of CDA at CDA headquarters on Thursday. The meeting was attended by Member Planning and Design CDA and 12 design proposals were proposed as an agenda. The Design Vetting Committee eventually approved 7 design proposals of the buildings out of 12 designs. The design of four buildings was not approved due to the shortcomings. The approved design proposals include one of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, H-11/2 and others of residential apartments and hotel in Islamabad.
During the last one and a half month Design Vetting Committee of CDA have approved design proposals of 16 projects in Islamabad. The net result of these design approvals will be the promotion of business and investment opportunities in Islamabad.
CDA is going ahead further for the promotion of business and investment activities in Islamabad to make Islamabad a hub of economic activities. In this regard, CDA is going to hold an auction of commercial plots on 15, 16, and 17 of this month which will further promote business activities in Islamabad.
