Orders Given to Expedite Operation Against Illegal Housing Schemes
Rawalpindi: Director-General Saif Anwar Jappa of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has ordered the enforcement team to step up its ongoing campaign against unlawful housing societies.
A spokesman for the RDA stated that three illegal housing projects—Islamabad Marina City Mouza Garbal, Pakistan Employees Cooperative Housing Society Mouza Mohri Khatran and Garbal, and Seven Enclave Housing Society at Mauza Garbal Fateh Jang Road—were the targets of a large operation against rule breakers.
During the operation, the site offices of the illegal housing complexes were destroyed.
The RDA enforcement team, according to the spokesman, is taking strict action against unauthorised housing developments. He mentioned that owners of illegal housing complexes had also received notifications.
Booking offices, billboards, and the main gates of the Cighu Farmhouse Housing Scheme, mouza Chak Cighu, Royal Ghar Housing Scheme, mouza Pariyal, Chak Beli Khan Road, and New Iqra City/Iqra Residencia, mouza Chakri, Jorian Rawat Road were also demolished earlier in the course of an operation.
Furthermore, RDA squads directorate issued notices to the owners of five illegal private housing schemes namely Green lake City at dhoke bhaia Rawat, Chak beli Khan Road, Safanza New Era at Ralla Gujrain Chak beli Khan Road, Royal Ghar (Apna Ghar) at Mouza Paryal Chak beli Khan Road, New Iqra City at Mouza dheri Jorian, Rawat and Hoon Farm House at Mouza Adiala Road for violating the rules.
