CDA Takes Steps to Provide Citizens with Healthy Environment

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) administration is taking several steps to promote a healthy atmosphere for Islamabad residents. In this regard, the concerned departments have finished the upgradation work at Uncle Sargam Park, which is located in Islamabad sector F-11, on the particular instructions of the CDA administration.

This Uncle Sargam Park was designed to suit the famous character ‘Uncle Sargam.’ There are also statues of characters from the Uncle Sargam series which were initially damaged. In this context, the statues of the iconic characters from the Uncle Sargam series have been restored and placed so that the park’s visitors can have fun.

The process of providing various facilities, including the refurbishment of this park, was initiated on the special instructions of the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority and has already been finished.

Other facilities, such as walkways, swings, and a running track, have been installed in the park. Similarly, seasonal flowers of all hues have been planted throughout the park to keep the surroundings green and fresh so that visitors may fully enjoy the ambience.

Aside from that, benches for sitting in the park, sufficient lighting, security, and other necessary measures have been made.

On this occasion, the Capital Development Authority administration states that maintaining a healthy environment for the residents of Islamabad, particularly children, is one of the institution’s top priorities.
